Happiness – Are we really happy? Ask yourself.

Happiness by Shailee Sheth

What makes you happy? What is the real meaning of happiness according to you? A high percentage of studies? Promotion in the office? Recognition/Credit given by some well-known person for some of your best contributions? If you are thinking in that way, I appreciate your dreams or the efforts you are putting to achieve those things! But if you notice; then you will realize that all such stuff is not the ultimate definition of happiness! If they are; then why the world famous people like Robin Williams or Jiya Khan or Pratyuksha commit suicide? Well… perceptions can be changed from person to person!

Happiness lies within small things around you, around me, around all of us!!! Just take some time to look around!

Think about the things/activities/people who can give you instant joy! Remember the time when you are a kid? Those little surprises and few things can cheer you up! That first step, first slide, first swing, (and then every swing) made you happy! Coloring your book and then the walls, schools, games, bicycles, hide & seek, annual days, projects and what not! At that time, those little things were very big… and which can give you immense happiness.

So now, what has changed? The age? Always remember one thing – Keep a child alive within you; you will never get bored! Are you single? married? a girl? a boy? a  parent? a grandparent? Whoever you are… whatever you are… Happiness is free! It is not partial.; but yes, you have to find it.

See the beauty around you – feel it!!! You don’t need to be rich to be happy. If the ‘BMW’ can give you happiness, keep working… it’s a fun too! Just don’t forget to live present for the sake of future! I am talking about the day to day things, which exists – but some people are missing them. Analyse people – everyone has some good qualities. Stop comparing yourself with others – Half of the problems will be finished. See what you have! Be satisfied. Dream – Work Hard – Achieve… just for YOUR happiness – Not for others.

Ultimately… as we say… our motto express… Life is Beautiful*… *Conditions Applied!!!

You have plenty of responsibilities – Everyone has! But, Don’t make your life too complicated! Stop – Breath – Live – Let Live – Laugh – Love! Let’s make some difference! 🙂
